Problem in the start docker

#1
    Did you mean 'stat'?

If you believe you received this message in error, try re-running with 'hab sup -- start'

USAGE:
    hab sup [SUBCOMMAND]

For more information try --help```

I'm using jenkins to build the images. Then i use the openshift to run the images in docker format. It is happening in the init execution docker image.
The command ```hab --version``` return v0.55.0. But i install the version 0.56.0.

#2

Can you show the command that you ran to get that output?

To try to make sure you’re on the right version, show what happens when you run

curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/habitat-sh/habitat/master/components/hab/install.sh | sudo bash

And after that what output you get for

which hab

I’ve seen this a bunch, it happens when you haven’t updated your local hab binary to the latest release. Version 0.56.0 had significant changes from v0.55.0 and our exporters are currently tightly coupled to the supervisor version. If you install hab v0.56.0, then attempt a fresh export of your package the container should work!

#5

By the way, this forum doesn’t use ``` for code blocks. Instead, indent preformatted text by 4 spaces. There’s also a handy button to indent code you’ve already entered:

04%20PM

#6

It looks like hab v0.56.0 installed correctly. What do you see when you run

which hab

?

what about

/bin/hab --version

?

#7

I used the command:hab --version. I go try
I’ll try to run export again and put the result here

#8

Maybe I’m being unclear. The output you got for running

curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/habitat-sh/habitat/master/components/hab/install.sh | sudo bash

looks correct to me. After I run the command, here’s how I check that the correct hab binary is being executed:

jbauman@ubuntu:~$ which hab
/bin/hab
jbauman@ubuntu:~$ hab --version
hab 0.56.0/20180530234036

What do you see on your system?
